What Is NIOS?
NIOS is a national board established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, that lets learners complete their Secondary (SSLC-equivalent) and Senior Secondary (Plus Two-equivalent) education through open and distance learning. It is recognised by the UGC, AICTE and the Association of Indian Universities for admission to higher education and government jobs across the country, on par with a regular state or CBSE board certificate.
